Megan Eidson is an adoptive mom of 4 adult children, a wife, and has served as a doula for 13 years. She often served families who are experiencing complications, loss or terminal diagnosis for themselves or their babies during pregnancy through Labor of Hope, an organization for which she served as the director of photography and outreach for a few years. After serving in the birth world for many years, she moved on to pursue her Bachelor's degree in nursing, completing her capstone on a subject she was passionate about, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. She is currently an obstetrics nurse who works in a busy postpartum unit within the Baylor system. She also serves as a birth assistant and postpartum nurse for Allen Midwifery and Family Wellness. With a passion for evidence based practice and ensuring that women have safe choices in their healthcare, she plans on attending Frontier University to pursue her Master's of Science in Nursing/CNM in the very near future.
